ibis Cherbourg La Glacerie

This is a stunning property in a lovely location that has been beautifully renovated and maintained by the host who, along with his family, are exceptionally warm and welcoming. When we ate there we were the only English people staying, and the owners made an effort to keep us involved in the conversation. The food was homecooked and lovely, and we were treated to some of the local wines and produce as well. Truly a great place to relax and unwind

Loved the hotel. We had actually mixed up our dates and we were booked into the budget Ibis next door, for the following day. But booked into this Ibis, explained the situation,. So had 1 night in the red Ibis (lovely) and the second night in the budget Ibis. Both good,but I prefer the Red Ibis. Bigger rooms, extra pillows, a kettle and coffee...

Restaurant very good. Outside green space nice for dog. Easy to find from motorway and easy to ferry terminal.

The room was very nice, modern, comfortable and clean especially the bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful.
