ibis Cherbourg La Glacerie

I stayed one night on my way to Geneva by motorbike. The Brittany Rosslare -Cherbourg ferry had arrived too late to go on. Staff was friendly and welcoming with good English as my French hadn't come online enough yet. Clean and pleasant room with a good TV . Enjoyed a few YouTube videos and slept well. Left late avoiding the rain that had swept through in the breakfast hours. Can recommend!

Repeat guests. Comfortable hotel for us as a couple and our little dog. Convenient for port, easy to find and secure parking. The staff are helpful and efficient. The breakfast is excellent and also the restaurant for dinner. There are grounds to adequately walk the dog off the main road.

Very welcoming staff. Nice room. Excellent breakfast. Next to a McDonalds and a Grand Frais supermarket.

The Ibis hotel was good. Staff at reception were friendly and efficient; the room was nice, bed comfortable and bathroom facilities good.

This is a stunning property in a lovely location that has been beautifully renovated and maintained by the host who, along with his family, are exceptionally warm and welcoming. When we ate there we were the only English people staying, and the owners made an effort to keep us involved in the conversation. The food was homecooked and lovely, and we were treated to some of the local wines and produce as well. Truly a great place to relax and unwind
